About

Welcome to Nurse In Australia!

My name is Ross, I’ve been in the nursing game for around 10 years now. I’ve worked in both the private and public sectors, spent time migrating through various wards (surgical, medical, oncology, orthopaedics), then I spent some time in HDU and recovery until I discovered my favourite place - the Emergency Department! (crazy right?)

I’ve worked in various different Emergency Departments full time now for the past 5 years, and am currently based in Queensland.

This site has been created for a few different reasons: to give people who are interested in nursing in Australia a few ideas on where to get started, to give new or student nurses insight into the real world of nursing, and for me to have a hobby outside of work ;)

Please feel free to drop me a line if you have any comments or queries, get involved & leave comments on the site, subscribe to this site (it’s free!) or help out by buying me a coffee.
