From Tiffany Lynch, School of Nursing at the University of Adelaide:
I am trying to reach as many overseas trained nurses as possible to try and help improve the registration process for them in Australia.
I am currently conducting a survey to gain quantitative data on the experiences of nurses in meeting the English language requirements. I have a Government grant as well as University of Adelaide scholarship for this research and the results of my survey will be used to inform the English language testing policy for Nursing Registration in Australia.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have three years of experience as staff nurse at Medical ward in Sree Venkateswara Hospital. Besides, over 2 years of experience as a Staff nurse at Acute Intensive Care Unit in India. I completed Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery in 2004 and I have undertaken a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Flinders University in South Australia and graduated in April 2008. Now I am a registered Nurse in Australia. I require sponsorship to come Australia because I am in India now. Am I eligible to work in Australia?
Hi Jinse
If your Australian registration is current then you can work in Australia. You say that you graduated in 2008 and then registered therefore I assume that your registration is still valid. If you need help to find a sponsored job please let me know. I run a nurses recruitment agency and have assisted many Indian nurses with placement. As this is the first time that I have entered this forum I am not sure if you can see my email address. If not please respond here and we will ask the moderator to allow us to connect.
