well ,in Croatia we have only one name “a nurse”,and we do everything,nursing care,feeding,giving therapy oral,venously,sc,im,taking blood,giving blood transfusion,registration patient and discharge,and of course making coffee for our lovely doctors

In Canada we have a lot of different titles as well. RN (registered nurse), RPN/LPN (Registered/Licensed Practical Nurse), PN (Psychiatric Nurse), NP (nurse practitioner), and the list goes on. The tricky part is different provinces use a few different names for the same level of practice, it can be a bit confusing.

Hi! Just popped in for a moment while I take a break from painting the house! Did you catch wind of the news: “Midwives will be able to provide Medicare-funded care for the first time under a dramatic but controversial reform passed by parliament?” Informative article BTW! I just wonder what they’ll call these midwives? NP’s?
